How I Work from Home Successfully

I’ve been working from home since June 3, 2019, which I counted as my first official workday as a full-time writerpreneur after I quit my teaching job on May 24.

So when the COVID-19 pandemic pushed many employers to allow any of their employees that could do their jobs remotely to work from home, not much changed for me (on that front, at least).

My 40 Before 40 List

Today I turn 39. Today I enter the last year of my 30s. Today I begin my 40 Before 40 project!

And this will be my obsession for the next 366 days, so brace yourself!

I love lists and I am completely obsessed with setting and going after goals, so making a list of 40 things to do before I turn 40 is the best gift I could give myself.

So, 2020 starts for me today. And since February is my birthday month, this month truly will bring the start of a new year.

If January was a dumpster fire of a month for you, too, let’s start over together. Happy New Year!

Here’s what I’m doing to get back on track with my New Year’s goals.

How to Read More in 2020

Stephen King once said, “If you don’t have time to read, you don’t have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.”

But reading can benefit us in more ways than we know and making time to read may be easier than we think.

My Goals for 2020

Girl, it’s time to level up.

My inner voice has been saying this to me a lot lately. My husband and my best friend have been telling me this, too. And I’ve decided to listen to all of them.

That’s why I chose “GROWTH” as my word for 2020 and that’s why I’ve set 10 goals for 2020 that will take me to the next level in every area of my life.
