I’ve been blogging in some way for nearly 15 years. Blogging has changed so much during that time and, to be honest, I miss the early days of blogging.

For over a year now I’ve been setting a goal every month to post a new Instagram Reel every day. And every month I fail.
I usually start strong but by day four or so I slip and then I don’t post another Reel for a month!
We all know that consistency is key when it comes to nearly anything in life. So if I can’t consistently post daily Reels I need to figure out what I can do and stick with that.
So here’s my new Instagram plan.

A new year is almost here and while I plan to spend much of these final weeks of 2022 relaxing and hanging out with friends and family. But the goal digger in me is also plotting plans for 2023.
Near the end of the year, I always take time to ask myself a series of questions to help me set goals for the year to come.

(more…)Things I’m Grateful for That Money Can’t Buy
When I thumb through my journal and look at the things I often give thanks for in my daily gratitude lists, I’m struck by how much of those lists are filled with material possessions such as my home and my car. Even when I give thanks for experiences such as trips to New York or to Orange Beach, I recognize that these things couldn’t happen without money.
When I write about how wonderful it feels to walk peacefully in my neighborhood, I also acknowledge that it’s a blessing to be able to afford to live in a quiet suburb.
So today when writing in my journal, I challenged myself to express gratitude for five things that money can’t buy.
