So here we are. It’s December — the final month of the most craptastic year of my life. Nonetheless, I’m determined to make the most of this month and finish the year strong.

(more…)This is it! Today is the final day of the 2020 #BlogLikeCrazy challenge.
If you successfully participated that means you published a new blog post every day this month. Here we are at the end of the month and you’re probably thinking, “I blogged like crazy. Now what?”
Aside from giving yourself a nice reward, here are three things you should do after you blog like crazy.
(more…)My #1 goal for December has nothing to do with writing. My top priority for next month is to deep clean and de-clutter my house. And I will be making plans for redecorating and revamping our landscaping in 2021.

We’d give ourselves time for girl talk and giggles then we’d get quiet, set a timer, and write. We held each other accountable. I made sure she didn’t start scrolling through her phone. And she made sure I didn’t start writing random to-do lists.
Eventually, life got in the way and we stopped our writing dates and now because of the pandemic, neither of us will be hanging out in coffee shops anytime soon. But when all of this is over (if it’s ever over) I’m going to make it a priority to start these writing dates again.
We all need a writing bestie.

That’s such a fantastic word. It’s both beautiful and powerful. Even though I chose my word for 2021 months ago (I’ll share it with you next month), I’ve been thinking a lot about how to embody and embrace the idea of being undaunted, too.
