It’s almost time to blog like crazy!
Every November I challenge the ladies of See Jane Write to publish a new blog post every day for 30 days. This may sound impossible, but I promise you it’s not. And you don’t have to lose your sanity to pull this off.
Here are things you need to do so that you can #bloglikecrazy without going crazy:
1. Start blogging like crazy NOW. Mattie James of Mattieologie always says the best way to manage time is to stay ahead of it and I couldn’t agree more. Try your best to avoid writing your blog post for the day on the actual day you plan to post it. This week try getting up an hour earlier than you normally do each day so you can work on blog posts for November. Or work on posts during your lunch break or before you go to bed.
2. Take your blog out on a date. This weekend, try to find a few hours to escape to your favorite coffee shop to write. Be sure to have a list of blog post ideas that you plan to work on during your blog date and try to write as many posts as you can during your session. Try to have as many blog dates as you can in November.
3. Plan ahead or plan to fail. I’m sure you remember that old saying “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” This couldn’t be truer when it comes to blogging. Each Sunday take a look at the week ahead and figure out when you will have time to blog each day and what post idea you will work on that day.
If you need even more help, check out my free time management guide for bloggers, A Time to Blog.
This year I’m also compiling a 30-day #bloglikecrazy guide that will walk you through each and every day of #bloglikecrazy with writing prompts, post promotion ideas, and time management tips. But this guide will only be available to See Jane Write members. Click here to find out how you can join See Jane Write today. Enrollment for membership closes Monday, Oct. 31.
I was successful with blog like crazy last year and I tried to talk myself out of it this year because it was hard and very time consuming. BUT it was fun! Can I participate again this year???
Of course! I’m glad you’ll be joining us!
